How to Crop a GIF

1. Upload Your GIF

Drag and drop your GIF file or click the upload area to browse your files. Files up to 50 MB are supported.

2. Select the Crop Area

Drag the crop box directly on the image to select the area you want to keep. Use the corner handles to resize the selection. You can also type exact pixel coordinates in the input fields. Choose a preset aspect ratio like 1:1 for profile pictures, 16:9 for widescreen, or 4:3 for classic proportions.

3. Crop & Download

Click "Crop" to process your GIF and download the result. The entire operation happens in your browser.

Why Crop a GIF?

Cropping lets you remove unwanted borders, focus on a specific part of the image, or adjust the aspect ratio for different platforms. Square crops work great for profile pictures and Instagram. Widescreen 16:9 crops are perfect for Twitter and YouTube thumbnails.
